Responsibilities

1. Assist dentists or other dental clinicians chairside in performing a wide range of dental procedures.
2. Perform dental radiographs.
3. Perform a wide range of dental laboratory procedures.
4. Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments, equipment, and operating area.
5. Maintain dental operating area and monitor consumable supplies.
6. Provide administrative support as required.
7. Other associated tasks relevant to this occupational group.

Qualifications

1. Must be a graduate of an accredited Level II (Intra-Oral) Dental Assisting program.
2. Must be licensed in Good Standing as a Level II Dental Assistant with the British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals.
3. Must have experience performing intra-oral procedures and providing clinical assistance in all disciplines of dentistry.
4. Must have (or be able to obtain) CPR Level C / AED certification.

Additional Requirements

1. Candidates must be eligible and able to obtain and maintain a Reliability level Government Security clearance.

Compensation details: 30 - 34$/hr, benefits and paid vacation.
