We are seeking a full-time registered dental assistant to join us for one year, with the possibility of becoming full-time.

Our dental clinic is located in Blairmore, AB. We have an excellent team that enjoys working together and utilizes the most advanced technology. But the best part is, we are part of a large, supportive team across Canada that fosters growth, values suggestions, and strives to improve team morale.

Responsibilities

1. Be happy at work and collaborate effectively with the dental team, front desk, and administrative staff.
2. Build long-term relationships with patients.
3. Prepare the dental operatory for procedures and assist with applying topical anesthetics and sealants as directed by the dentist.
4. Mix and prepare materials such as cement, medicaments, bonding agents, and fillings according to instructions.
5. Perform post-operative and post-treatment procedures as instructed by the dentist.
6. Educate patients on preventive dental care, causes of dental problems, and oral hygiene to develop strong relationships.
7. Follow all relevant legislation, regulations, codes of ethics, practice standards, and policies.

Qualifications

• Must love your profession.
• Must be a Registered Dental Assistant in Alberta.
