Job summary

Comfort Keepers is seeking a Registered Care Aide (RCA) with a vehicle to join our Langley-area team for cluster shifts. You will provide in-home care and companionship to seniors and adults in their homes, supporting daily living activities under guidance from the health care team.

The ideal candidate holds an HCA certificate, BC Registry Number, current First Aid/CPR, and a valid Driver's license with access to a vehicle.

Qualifications

• HCA certificate and BC registry number are required.
• Valid First Aid and CPR training is required.
• Driver's license and own vehicle are mandatory.
• Morning availability is a must.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivery of client care and home support services under health care team guidance.
• Observe and report significant changes in client's presentation.
• Collaborate with health care team, clients, and caregivers to maximize independence in ADLs/IADLs.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, mobility, feeding, toileting.
• Help with household tasks including meal prep and groceries.

Comfort Keepers is looking for a Registered Care Aide (RCA) with a car, available in the Langley area to join our growing team for cluster shifts. We are a leading in-home care provider for seniors and other adults that require a helping hand or companionship in their home.

As a Caregiveryou will make a difference in your clients lives by:

• Assisting in the delivery of client care and home support services under the direction of the health care team.
• Assist clients with care, observe, and report significant changes in the client’s presentation.
• Collaborate with the health care team, clients, and their caregivers to maximize independence with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
• Assist clients with Bathing, showering, dressing, mobility, feeding, toileting
• Assist with household activities including meal prep, shopping for groceries laundry etc.
• Motivate, encourage, and involve clients in their care.
• Provide input and feedback in the care planning process to the health care team.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients and staff.
• Driving client in their vehicle to appointments and outings
