Job summary

Comfort Keepers Victoria in Vancouver is seeking a Registered Care Aide (RCA) to join our growing in-home care team serving Vancouver and surrounding communities. You will assist clients with daily living activities, monitor changes, and collaborate with the health care team to support independence in ADLs and IADLs.

Requirements include HCA certificate and BC Registry Number, current First Aid and CPR, clean criminal record, and a valid driver’s license (vehicle a bonus).

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering client care and home support under health care team guidance.
• Observe clients and report significant changes in presentation.

• Assist with bathing, mobility, dressing, feeding, toileting.
• Assist with household tasks including meal prep, shopping, laundry.
• Motivate and involve clients in their care.
• Provide input in care planning with health care team.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients and staff.
• Drive clients to appointments and outings.

Comfort Keepers is looking for a Registered Care Aide (RCA) available for the Vancouver area to join our growing team. We are a leading in-home care provider for seniors and other adults that require a helping hand or companionship in their home.

As a Caregiver you will make a difference in your clients lives by:

• Assisting in the delivery of client care and home support services under the direction of the health care team
• Assist clients with care, observe, and report significant changes in the client’s presentation
• Collaborate with the health care team, clients, and their caregivers to maximize independence with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)
• Assist clients with Bathing, showering, dressing, mobility, feeding, toileting
• Assist with household activities including meal prep, shopping for groceries laundry etc
• Motivate, encourage, and involve clients in their care
• Provide input and feedback in the care planning process to the health care team
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients and staff
• Driving client in their vehicle to appointments and outings
