Registered Care Aide - Casual

As a Registered Care Aide, you treat all residents, volunteers and staff members with respect and courtesy, affirm the dignity and best interests of each resident, and fulfill your responsibilities with integrity, diligence and efficiency.
The applicant must hold a current license as a Registered Care Aide with the BC Care Aide Registry, have a clean criminal record check for vulnerable populations, and possess experience or a strong interest in palliation.
Requires frequent walking and the physical ability to provide personal care. You must be able to seek help from co‑workers when two people are required to safely deliver care.
Must consistently offer personal care in a respectful manner, accurately assess and report changes in physical and emotional well‑being, and collaborate effectively with all team members using attentive listening and respectful communication.
Target hiring range: $25.55 to $26.05, with a maximum of $26.55.
