Job summary

Meridian Credit Union is seeking a Regional Vice President Wealth to lead the Wealth Management strategy across the region. You will manage Senior Financial Planners, Financial Planners, and Private Investment Advisors, setting standards, coaching for success, and driving the achievement of sales targets and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of related experience in financial services sales management.
• Financial Planning designation is an asset.
• IIROC or MFDA licensed.
• In-depth knowledge of Wealth Management products and services.
• Regular travel throughout the province.

Responsibilities

• Manage Senior Financial Planners, Financial Planners, and Private Investment Advisors to meet sales targets.
• Provide guidance and training to build client solutions and grow portfolios.
• Recruit, promote, and manage succession of wealth advisors.
• Collaborate with partners to maximize distribution network effectiveness.
• Lead change initiatives and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Develop annual sales plans and budgets for Wealth Management.
