Transport Canada is seeking an Regional Transportation Security & Emergency Preparedness Inspector to support airport security and emergency readiness across Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver regions.

Intent of the process
The immediate intent of this process is to staff three (3) indeterminate TI-06 positions at the Vancouver International Airport location. A pool of qualified and/or partially assessed candidates will be established and may be used to staff similar positions with various locations (Calgary International Airport, Edmonton International Airport, Vancouver International Airport) within Transport Canada.

COVER LETTER: Candidates must submit a cover letter which clearly demonstrates how they meet the education requirement and the experience factors listed in the essential qualifications and any asset education and experience qualifications as well. For each experience criteria, please provide the following mandatory information: 1 - Name of the department or organization where the experience was acquired; 2 - Title of the position occupied and duration for which the candidate exercised its functions; 3 - Specific details of tasks, projects or accomplishments demonstrating the experience was acquired. Resumes will be used as a secondary source to validate the experience described in the cover letter. Failure to clearly demonstrate in your cover letter how you meet the essential/asset screening criteria (Education and Experience) may result in the rejection of your application. Applicants will not be solicited for incomplete or possible missing information.

EDUCATION: ED: Graduation with a diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution or acceptable combination of a secondary school diploma and/or training and relevant experience.

EDUCATION: AED: Successful completion of two years of a post-secondary program with specialization relevant to the fields of aviation.
