This part-time role involves negotiations, representing members, and campaigning. About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional Support Officer with Trade Union experience to join the East of England region. The successful candidate will support the regional team and Head of Region in implementing the ‘Five Pillars’ strategy, focusing on representing members, negotiations, supporting and organising Reps, campaigning, and recruitment.
The candidate will collaborate closely with BMA staff and Reps, applying transferable skills in negotiating, representing, campaigning, and organising within a membership organisation like a trade union.
This is a part-time position for 20 hours per week, fixed-term for 12 months.

This role is home-based, requiring travel across the East of England (primarily Essex). Candidates should live nearby or be willing to relocate at their own expense within an agreed timeframe.
