Manitoulin Transport is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Alberta to support local terminal operations and ensure daily functions run efficiently. This full-time role reports to the Regional Manager and serves as the contact during the Terminal Manager's absence.

You will supervise drivers and dock staff, oversee scheduling of pickups and deliveries, coordinate operations, and maintain clear communication with drivers, customers, and central dispatch.

Qualifications

• Class 1/AZ or Class 5/DZ license preferred.
• Ability to travel to different geographic locations.
• Ability to learn new geographic areas quickly.
• Strong multitasking, delegation, and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Computer literacy with descriptive reporting skills.
• Knowledge of the freight industry, equipment, and driver work environments.
• Ability to remain flexible and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Operations Supervisor in Alberta. This role is crucial for providing operations support at the local terminal level and ensuring our day-to-day functions are executed efficiently and effectively.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Operations Supervisor will work directly with the local Terminal Manager. This position is vital for maintaining service standards and operational profitability. You will also serve as the main point of contact for the terminal during the Terminal Manager's absence.

Key Responsibilities
