Job summary

The Operations Manager for Thunder Bay (Liquid East / Industrial Services) provides strategic leadership and direct oversight for daily regional operations, including industrial services, liquid waste transfer, material processing, facility/truck repairs, and emergency response services.

Reporting to the District/Branch Manager, this position ensures a safe, continuous, and profitable operation while maintaining full accountability for operational margins, workforce coordination, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Experience leading regional operations teams.
• 2nd item not required to be obvious?
• Proven ability to develop budgets and monitor margins.
• Knowledge of MTO CVOR regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day regional operations and scheduling.
• Provide daily updates to the Branch Manager.
• Prepare quotes and tender packages with the BD team.
• Oversee asset management and facility maintenance.
• Develop annual budgets and monitor financials.
• Lead EHS initiatives and safety committees.
• Supervise ~37 staff and conduct performance reviews.
