Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in a fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience managing capital projects over $1M.
  • Fluency in English and French.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and executing improvement and capital projects from concept to commissioning.
  • Managing multi-million-dollar capital project budgets, ensuring delivery on time, on scope, and on budget.
  • Designing efficient layouts for equipment, materials, and workspaces using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
  • Supporting the rollout of a standardized CMMS program across operations.
  • Applying lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices to boost productivity and reduce waste.
  • Mapping and improving harvest and processing workflows in collaboration with plant and field personnel.
  • Partnering with vendors, engineers, and leadership to develop robust solutions to complex challenges.
  • Promoting efficiency in labor utilization, material flow, and equipment use.

What You’ll Do

As a Regional Industrial Engineer (RIE), you’ll play a key role in supporting and leading modernization, standardization, and improvement initiatives across multiple sites. Your work will take you to manufacturing plants and harvest operations where you’ll partner with local teams to deliver projects that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and drive long‑term operational success.

What We’re Looking For
  • Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (preferred).
  • Fluency in English and French
  • 7+ years’ experience in a fast-paced, high-mix manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience managing capital projects over $1M.
  • Hands‑on, results‑oriented problem solver with strong change management abilities.
  • Skilled in 2D/3D modeling (AutoCAD, SolidWorks); PLC/automation knowledge is an asset.
  • Excellent communicator, able to adapt messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect process improvements to financial impact.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% across the region (plus occasional travel elsewhere in North America).
  • Valid driver’s license; able to lift up to 25kg.
