Job summary

The Northern Rockies Regional Municipality seeks a Chief Administrative Officer to lead financial stewardship and strategic growth across a vast, resource-rich region in British Columbia. You will oversee budgeting, accounting, taxation, payroll, reporting, investments, risk management, and long-range planning, working with Council and senior leaders to deliver resilient services.

CPA designation and at least five years in local government finance, including three years in senior leadership, are

Qualifications

• CPA designation and degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Five+ years of progressively responsible local government finance experience.
• Minimum of three years in a senior leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting, accounting, taxation, payroll, financial reporting, investments and risk management.
• Lead long-range financial planning and capital project oversight.
• Ensure statutory reporting, PSAS compliance and external audits.
• Advise Regional Council and senior leadership on financial strategy and governance.
