Job summary

Arterra Wines Canada is seeking a Senior Manager, Regional Estates to lead all Ontario regional wineries, delivering retail sales and winery experiences that build brand loyalty while driving profitability.

The role requires coordinating with DTC, brand and operations, overseeing estate maintenance, safety, recruiting, and training to foster a motivated team and strong guest experiences.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business or equivalent (MBA preferred).
• 6-8 years in winery retail and hospitality; food service experience.
• International wine knowledge and experience.
• Proven strategic thinking and long term planning aptitude and track record.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Ability to clearly communicate with internal and external parties both verbally and in writing.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure.
• Plus WSET 2 or 3.

Responsibilities

• Working with visitor experience managers, establish key plan deliverables including annual operational & temp labour objectives.
• Design & implement estate experiences and key priorities to drive annual objectives. Work with estate partners to ensure experiences and hospitality are delivering acceptable margins.
• Collaborating with brand to develop key messages and ensure destinations are well marketed and known as a place to visit.
• Working with brand on social media & PR to deploy destination marketing initiatives and events.
• Collaborate with Estate Manager and Talent Acquisition for key positions and assist with seasonal recruiting; develop training materials.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to identify capital needs and prepare CIM for budgets and projects.
