Qualifications

• Technical diploma in related field.
• 5+ years with industry, Indigenous communities and stakeholders.
• Advanced communication, adult education, and public speaking.
• Experience in conflict resolution and adaptability.
• Knowledge of AER mandate, energy industry, government, industry, and public perspectives.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic goals to build credibility and trust.
• Engage with industry, Indigenous communities and stakeholders across lifecycle.
• Represent the AER at meetings and multi-stakeholder tables.
• Interpret and navigate regulatory information and improve processes.
• Respond to inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
• Provide situational advice to internal units.
• Elevate local intelligence to inform responses.
• De-escalate conflicts and refer to experts.
