Hotel Equities, one of the top hotel development and management companies in the industry, is currently searching for a remarkable Regional Director of Operations to be based in Southern Ontario!

Responsibilities

• Provide multi-unit leadership, focusing on guest satisfaction, associate satisfaction, and owner satisfaction.
• Act as a direct supervisor to General Managers, providing support and resources both in-person and remotely.
• Oversee all financial aspects of each hotel in a portfolio: P & L, CapEx, Forecasting, and Budgeting.
• Ensure operational excellence for all hotels; support, critique, and guide hotels not meeting brand standards or company expectations.
• Ensure brand QA Compliance/Performance and approve action plans generated by hotels.
• Serve as liaison between hotel General Managers and discipline coaches across departments such as Sales and Marketing, Finance, HR, Learning, Facilities, PR, Revenue Management, and Owner Relations.
• Model and promote company culture.
• Select, develop, manage, and lead management team members.
• Guide, develop, and implement policies, procedures, and systems to improve operations.
• Provide leadership for annual marketing plans.

Requirements

• Must be able to travel extensively.
• Previous experience as a Regional Director of Operations or multi-unit hotel General Manager.
• Experience with Marriott and Hilton required.
• Experience with full service, Select Service, Lifestyle, and Luxury hotels.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Ability to lead, delegate, multi-task, and manage virtually.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
• Thorough knowledge of the company's mission, vision, and values.
• Deep understanding and support of company pillars: culture, growth, profitability, accountability, and people.
• Leadership skills including coaching, mentoring, feedback, and training.
• Effective communication skills.
• Critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to process new information quickly and respond appropriately to change.
