Join to apply for the Regional Director, Commercial Lending role at BMO.

Provides a superior level of customer service and portfolio management in lending services for all existing and potential clients and in support of a team of specialists and relationship managers. Provides technical expertise for proactive credit analysis, structuring, decisions, and portfolio monitoring. Applies lending expertise to a lending and deposit portfolio of accounts or part of the lending process (e.g., underwriting, funding, monitoring).

  • Make strategic recommendations based on in-depth business understanding.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
  • Lead change management and develop communication strategies.
  • Oversee operational programs and manage credit administration within guidelines.
  • Identify business needs, develop tools and training, and support regulatory compliance.
  • Mitigate risks and make credit decisions aligned with policies.
  • Participate in audits and ensure adherence to ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to meet business objectives.
  • Manage data and generate reports for performance monitoring and strategic insights.
  • Lead initiatives to adapt to market trends and implement organizational changes.
Qualifications:
  • Typically 7+ years of relevant experience with a post-secondary degree or equivalent.
  • Expert knowledge of personal and commercial credit products and risk management.
  • Strong communication, relationship management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in the financial services industry, particularly with high net worth clients.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and make data-driven decisions.
Salary:

$84,000.00 - $156,000.00
