Reporting to the National Vice President, Business Development, the incumbent is a member of the national sales team and is responsible for implementing engineering & environmental sales initiatives to support growth and new profitable products and segments. The incumbent will assist in creating and executing sales procedures aligned with our growth strategy and contribute to strategic marketing, product, and branding initiatives. A strong background in engineering, risk management, insurance, claims, marketing, and/or sales is essential.

Role Responsibilities
  • Servicing customers by communicating Pario’s services and meeting their needs.
  • Providing marketing materials to clients & prospective clients to ensure alignment with sales strategy and accurate representation of our products (supported by the Vice President, National Business Development).
  • Supporting corporate initiatives while managing daily business requirements.
  • Tracking new business prospects and sales funnels, utilizing data and analysis for decision-making.
  • Assisting with proposals, RFPs, presentations, and templates.
  • Attending local and regional industry events and coordinating with the National Sales team.
  • Managing client databases, sales territory planning, and providing regular account services.
  • Identifying and developing potential new clients within Ontario, understanding their business and engineering needs.
  • Participating in client meetings with the Vice President of National Business Development independently and with future Business Development Managers.
  • Developing existing customer relationships and market share.
  • Meeting deadlines and working irregular hours, being available during core hours (EST, PST).
  • Representing Pario professionally at industry events and internal functions.
  • Becoming a subject matter expert on Pario’s products, processes, and industry news.
Role Requirements
  • Understanding of the property and casualty insurance market; P&C Ontario market knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong business acumen; risk management experience is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with loss control practices & systems.
  • University Degree, College Degree, CRM, or CIP designation is advantageous.
  • Experience in sales & marketing and relevant industry background.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; customer-focused approach.
  • Team player with integrity and honesty.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the Greater Toronto Area and Ontario; opportunities for national travel.

  • Vice President, National Business Development – reporting directly to
  • Expert Field Staff – support and promote to clients
  • Vice President & AVP Operations – drive operational efficiencies
  • Marketing Department – support and coordinate marketing efforts
Relationships (Outside the Company)
  • Insurance Carriers – represent a thriving sales culture alongside the National VP
  • TP Suppliers / Vendors – support risk management culture with operational excellence
