Primary Purpose: To protect the company assets, associates and customers in the stores and fulfillment centers located in assigned region and administer the established asset protection and safety programs that have been established.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Asset Protection to...

  • Partner with store leadership to develop and implement an Asset Protection and Safety strategy to mitigate risk and loss within stores
  • Support internal and external investigations in areas of responsibility based on regional trends, exception reporting, or tips.
  • Promote teammate awareness of internal theft and generation of tips through education of store teams and the development of personal connections during store visits, training sessions, and virtual webinars.
  • Identify inventory shortage opportunities to recommend solutions and assist with the implementation and continued execution of the shortage reduction program
  • Determine the assignment of appropriate asset protection and safety resources and strategies to address shortage reduction and safety improvement opportunities
  • Adapt team priorities to respond to customer and business partner needs
  • Drive team performance through teaching, coaching, and providing meaningful feedback to build capabilities and results
  • Probe beyond the stated situation, identify underlying issues and consider possible alternatives to resolve opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies, retailers, and mall management to share intelligence and discuss security concerns.
  • Perform store visits independently and in partnership with district leaders, leveraging tools to improve performance, execution, and efficiencies.
  • Analyze key metrics and dashboards to identify potential operational deficiencies, awareness opportunities, or equipment issues that hinder shrink reduction, and develop strategies for remediation.
  • Identify and address safety concerns and foster a safety-conscious culture
  • Monitor, react and report significant / critical incidents within area of responsibility and as directed.
  • Support special events and incidents which may include providing or supplementing security coverage or coordinating contract services.
  • Establish and coordinate post incident response such as garnering resources, partnering with emergency first responders and communicating efforts with the GSOC as needed.

The accomplished individual will possess...

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in Loss Prevention/Asset Protection managing multi-unit locations.
  • Wicklander-Zulawski (WZ) Interviewing/Interrogation certification.
  • Ability to provide Asset Protection leadership to drives results, coach, collaborate and lead execution through others
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate and build consensus across multiple stakeholders and functions
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures to various situations.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentations.
  • Strong time management skills to balance multiple priorities effectively.
  • Flexibility to travel within the assigned region up to 50% of the time which will include some overnight travel
  • Strong remote work capability and ability to manage responsibilities independently.
