First Nations Health Authority is seeking an Addictions & Substance Use Specialist to collaborate with First Nations communities across British Columbia, promoting wellness planning and culturally safe care. The role blends community engagement, specialized expertise, and partnership-building to strengthen communities.

The ideal candidate holds a university degree in public health or related field and has 5–7 years of relevant experience in mental health and substance use.

Qualifications

• University degree in public health, or related field of studies, such as Allied Health, Behavioral/Social Sciences, Clinical Psychology.
• Five to seven years of recent, relevant experience in a mental health and substance use environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• As an Addictions & Substance Use Specialist, you'll collaborate with First Nations communities to support wellness planning, develop substance use strategies, and advance culturally safe care.
