Job summary

St. Joseph's Health System in Hamilton, ON, seeks a part-time Medical Radiation Technologist to perform radiographic procedures in General Radiology at the Charlton Campus.

The role requires active CMITO registration and adherence to Ontario standards, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality control, and teamwork. The incumbent will participate in departmental committees, maintain competency, and work across afternoon, day, evening, and on-call shifts, contributing to patient care and service

Qualifications

• Current registration with CMRITO is required.
• CAMRT membership and OA RMS preferred.
• Continued post-graduate education documentation required.
• Experience with Hospital Radiology Information Systems.
• Windows-based computer skills are an asset.
• Previous MRT experience is essential.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures on equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level following CMRITO standards.
• Maintains competency and adheres to departmental policies.
• Participates in committees and meetings (Quality, Safety, Education).
• Supports quality management and safety initiatives in Radiology.
