PAL Aviation Services in St. John's, NL, seeks a full-time Aircraft Refueler to join a safety‑conscious team serving aviation clients. You will operate fuel trucks, refuel multiple aircraft types, and handle daily receipts and paperwork.

The role requires a valid Class 3 driver's license with air‑brake endorsement, a clean driving record, and strong communication. Flexible shifts and aviation knowledge are assets; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class 3 driver’s license with air brake endorsement.
• Clean driving record and ability to provide driver’s abstract.
• Ability to operate VHF and handheld radios.
• Experience driving heavy equipment preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Aviation/refueling knowledge an asset.
• Flexible to work all shifts.
• High school completion required.

Responsibilities

• Operate fuel trucks and tank farm; perform daily walkaround inspections.
• Refuel multiple aircraft types (e.g., Dash 8, 737).
• Prepare daily fuel receipts and paperwork for processing.
• Responsible for fuel quality testing and bulk fuel acceptance/testing.
• Manage fuel inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.

PAL Aviation Services is the largest fixed-base operator (FBO) in Halifax and St. John's, offering extensive services to commercial, corporate, military, and private aircraft. PAL also supplies Jet-A1 at Wabush Airport, Labrador.

PAL Aviation Services is currently seeking a full-time Aircraft Refueller to join our team in St. John's, NL.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate fuel trucks and tank farm, completing daily walkaround inspections
• Refuel several aircraft types including Dash 8's, 737's, etc.
• Complete daily fuel receipts and submit fuel paperwork for processing
• Responsible for fuel quality testing and bulk fuel acceptance/testing
• Fuel inventory management
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Required: Valid Driver’s License Class 3 with air brake endorsement
• Must possess a clean driving record and be able to provide a drivers abstract
• The ability to operate VHF and handheld radios
• Previous experience driving heavy equipment would be preferred
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver superior customer service to clients
• Previous knowledge of refueling and/or aviation experience would be an asset
• Must be flexible to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations
• High school completion required
