We are seeking an experiencedCommercial Refrigeration Mechanicto join our Service Division in Prince Edward Island. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, customer service-oriented professional with a strong technical refrigeration experience to build a solid long-term career. Anchor Refrigeration is a leading installation and service company for industrial and commercial refrigeration in Atlantic Canada

Responsibilities:

• Processing and completing work orders for installing new refrigeration systems, troubleshooting and performing maintenance.
• Being in contact with the client to ascertain their equipment needs.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and compliance schematics.
• Measure and lay out reference points for installation
• Installing climate control systems, refrigeration units, and beverage equipment.
• Observing and testing newly installed systems.
• Recharge system with refrigerant, check and test regulators, calibrate system and perform routine maintenance or servicing.
• Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems·
• Maintaining truck stock levels.
• Clearly and accurately reporting time and materials for each job.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial or industrial refrigeration systems
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, controls, and environmental regulations (e.g., handling refrigerants under CSA B52) ·
• Valid driver's license and ability to work independently or as part of a service team
• Competency with basic office and time tracking software an asset
