Job summary

Uptime Industrial is seeking a Service Technician, Refrigeration to join our Canada-wide team. You will perform planned and unplanned service on refrigeration systems, diagnose issues, communicate with customers, and maintain safety on site.

Strong focus on quality, teamwork, and delivering reliable results is essential. The ideal candidate holds a Red Seal in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, has experience with ammonia or freon systems, and a valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean

Responsibilities

• Interpret and execute drawings, schematics, and blueprints of refrigeration systems.

• Clean, repair, calibrate, and adjust controllers and sensors.
• Complete daily inspections, safety reports, and field hazard assessments.

About The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Service Technician, Refrigeration is responsible for executing personal work at a high level of quality and managing customer communication, personal and site safety, customer experience, and vendor relationships to ensure a high level of performance. Duties will range from planned work order execution to troubleshooting and repairs. You will be responsible for diagnosing and ensuring client concerns are resolved in a timely manner.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Interpret and execute drawings, schematics, and blueprints of refrigeration systems and their component parts;
• Identify and recommend upgrades and services to customers as needed;
• Assemble and install refrigeration systems and components;
• Clean, repair, calibrate and adjust controllers and sensors;
• Complete daily equipment inspections, safety reports, and Field Level Hazard Assessments.
