Qualifications

• Permis de conduire valide.

Responsibilities

• Effectuer la maintenance préventive et programmée sur l'équipement.
• Rédiger des explications sur le travail effectué et passer les bons de travail.
• Diagnostiquer et réparer selon les spécifications du fabricant.

Armour is currently hiring a Reefer or Trailer Technician in Moncton, New Brunswick & Dartmouth, NS

• Minimum of 5 years experience in transport and refrigeration required.
• Background working on Carrier Reefers an asset.
• Ability to work independently.
• Able to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair truck and trailer refrigeration units.
• Performs preventative and scheduled maintenance on equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to manufacturers’ specs
• Write explanations of work performed, review work orders.
• Charge out all parts used for the specific task
• Licensed Commercial Trailer Technician Certification would be an asset
• Licensed or apprentice as a Heavy-Duty Technician would be an asset
• Knowledge of Heavy Truck Garage safety principles and behaviours
• Experience in fabrication, welding, and / or tailgate repairs is an asset
• Valid Class 5
