Job summary

Surrey Schools is seeking an Electrician for the afternoon shift to support renovations, repairs, and new installations across over 140 school district sites and offices in Surrey.

The ideal candidate holds an Interprovincial Trades Qualification in Electrical with a Red Seal, has at least 4 years of electrical experience, and a valid BC Class 5 license. Fire alarm experience is an asset and teamwork is valued in our cohesive facilities department.

Qualifications

• Interprovincial TQ in Electrical with Red Seal endorsement.
• Minimum 4 years of electrical experience.
• Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license.
• Experience with fire alarm systems is an asset.
• Experience in an institutional setting is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Foreperson and Electrical Manager and perform renovations, repairs, and new installations across Surrey Schools facilities.
• Work independently and in small teams to deliver high-quality electrical work within district sites.
