Be part of our client’s team in Burlington as a Recycling Technician and contribute to our mission of advancing sustainability and environmental accountability. As a Recycling Technician, your main duties will be to operate and upkeep recycling machinery, sort materials for recycling, and oversee the smooth running of our recycling plant.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Operate recycling equipment such as balers, shredders, and sorting machinery in accordance with set procedures.
• Separate and organize recyclable items, including paper, plastic, glass, and metal, to meet recycling regulations.
• Keep an eye on the performance of the equipment and communicate any maintenance or repair requirements.
• Help keep the recycling facility clean and organized by sweeping, cleaning, and maintaining work areas.
• Perform thorough quality control inspections on sorted materials to confirm they meet recycling standards.
• Work together with your team to improve the way you work and get the most out of your time and effort.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to guarantee the safety of all staff members in the work environment.
• Take part in training programs to improve your understanding and abilities related to recycling processes and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in recycling or waste management preferred but not required.
