GFL Environmental is looking for Recycling Sorters for Western Canada's largest and newest Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) in Edmonton, AB.

This role involves efficiently sorting recyclable materials and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities: As a Recycling Sorter, you will play a crucial role in our recycling operations, contributing to the efficient processing of recyclable materials. Your responsibilities include:

• Sorting: Accurately sorting various recyclables such as paper, glass, plastics, and metals from incoming waste streams
• Quality Control: Ensuring that only acceptable materials are included in the recycling process and identifying and removing contaminants
• Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure and hazard-free work environment
• Equipment Operation: Operating and maintaining sorting equipment as needed
