Shop Innovator is a leading e-commerce agency helping brick-and-click businesses thrive online. We work exclusively with merchants selling high-ticket premium physical goods, including luxury home and garden products, premium outdoor gear, and high-end furnishings. Our expertise spans Shopify UX optimization, conversion-focused content marketing, email marketing via Klaviyo, and paid and organic social strategies.

Role Overview

We are looking for a talented copywriter with a deep understanding of high-ticket product marketing. This role requires crafting compelling, persuasive, and SEO-optimized content that enhances brand storytelling, builds trust, and increases conversions. The ideal candidate must be comfortable using ChatGPT to enhance the content creation process and multitask seamlessly between different brands.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Write persuasive and engaging product descriptions, category pages, and landing pages optimized for SEO and conversions.
  2. Develop engaging email marketing campaigns and flows using Klaviyo, aligning with the customer journey.
  3. Create long-form and short-form content, including blog articles, brand storytelling, case studies, and website copy.
  4. Work closely with our design, UX, and marketing teams to ensure a cohesive brand voice across all digital touchpoints.
  5. Develop high-quality ad copy for paid social, Google Ads, and retargeting campaigns.
  6. Conduct keyword research and implement best SEO practices to enhance organic traffic.
  7. A/B test messaging to optimize content performance.
  8. Ensure all content aligns with accessibility best practices and e-commerce UX guidelines.
  9. Leverage AI tools to increase efficiency and content quality.
  10. Manage multiple brand voices and content projects simultaneously, ensuring consistency and quality.

Qualifications & Experience
  1. 3+ years of copywriting experience, preferably in e-commerce or high-ticket product marketing.
  2. Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in e-commerce copywriting, SEO content, and email marketing.
  3. Experience with Shopify and Klaviyo (or similar email marketing platforms).
  4. Knowledge of high-ticket buyer psychology and luxury branding principles.
  5. Excellent research skills, with the ability to translate complex product details into compelling, customer-friendly language.
  6. Ability to write for different brand voices while maintaining clarity and consistency.
  7. Strong understanding of conversion copywriting principles.
  8. Proficiency in AI content tools and their applications in copywriting.

Nice-to-Have Skills
  1. Experience with AI content tools to enhance productivity.
  2. Background in UX writing for e-commerce.
  3. Basic knowledge of visual analytics tools (e.g., Hotjar) to inform content strategies.
