C&W Services is seeking a Janitorial Hiring Coordinator in Mississauga. The role includes managing operational support for Janitorial hiring processes, coordinating onboarding, and ensuring compliance with guidelines. Job Description Summary: This position is responsible for providing operational support for all aspects of Janitorial hiring. It manages and facilitates all Workday and other tech-enabled tasks related to Janitorial hiring and new-hire onboarding. The role includes managing position details within designated accounts, posting job requisitions, and coordinating in-person application and onboarding processes at a centralized location. The incumbent must execute these duties effectively.
Governance & Compliance: Effectively anticipate and manage risks associated with personnel, proactively audit HR systems for compliance with legislation and global standards. Ensure adherence to the Delegations of Authority (DOA) for employment activities and incorporate key people risks into the risk management system.
Strategic Thinking Skills: Understand strategic priorities and governance to identify opportunities and risks, design solutions, and implement changes. Assess business needs, develop response strategies, and execute them timely.
Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong leadership, analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills. Prioritize tasks effectively, manage multiple initiatives, and oversee project milestones.
Collaboration & Communication Skills: Build relationships across all organizational levels, influence stakeholders, and work effectively with local and international colleagues. Maintain excellent relationships and communicate clearly.
Job Responsibilities: Act as liaison among Service Delivery Managers, payroll, benefits, and HR. Manage Workforce Structure in Workday, including posting job requisitions, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, managing applicant flow, and onboarding. Conduct background checks, facilitate transitions in Workday, JDE, and Kronos, and provide new hires with onboarding information. Maintain effective communication with applicants, including bilingual Spanish ability. Travel up to 50% for recruitment events and onboarding activities.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Hard skills include advanced proficiency in Workday, MS Office, with experience in Kronos and MS Teams a plus. Soft skills include effective communication and bilingual Spanish ability, with a friendly and engaging demeanor with applicants.
