Job summary

Suncor Energy in Calgary is seeking a temporary Recruitment Advisor to support the end-to-end recruitment process for 12 months.

You will partner with teams to deliver a positive candidate experience, manage offers, and run training sessions while ensuring compliance and process improvements.

This office-based role requires a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, at our Calgary head office, with strong collaboration across HR and business partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment technology.
• Strong organizational skills and a valid driver’s license.
• Three years of professional recruitment experience with focus on candidate experience, stakeholder engagement, inclusion and data stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to the business, delivering compensation recommendations linked to skills and experience.
• Engage candidates throughout offer presentation, pre-employment requirements and onboarding steps.
• Facilitate full-day training sessions.
• Seek continual improvements to the recruitment process and own recruitment programs.

Three years of professional experience, where you built skills like: candidate experience management, stakeholder engagement, inclusion, data stewardship

Strong facilitation skills with the desire and demonstrated ability to facilitate group sessions

A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, a related discipline, or equivalent years experience

Strong computer skills including proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems and other recruitment focused technology

Strong organizational skills

A valid driver’s license

Responsibilities:

Act as a trusted advisor to the business, building compensation recommendations connected to skills and experience

Engage candidates throughout offer presentation, pre-employment requirements, and report to work instructions

Facilitate full-day training sessions

Constantly seek to improve the recruitment process

Deliver proactive support to the business through ownership of recruitment programs

This is a temporary position for a period of12 months

This is an office based role and you will work out of our Calgary head office or our Fort McMurray Stoney Creek office

Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
