Job summary

ATCO Frontec is seeking a proactive Recruitment Advisor to lead full-cycle recruitment for high-volume skilled trades and construction roles across multiple projects and locations. You will support mobilisations, build strong pipelines, and partner with project leaders to meet changing workforce needs.

This role requires three years of full-cycle recruitment experience in construction or industrial hiring, with a focus on remote and project-based work environments.

Responsibilities

Job description

ATCO Frontec is seeking a proactive and highly adaptable Recruitment Advisor to support our growing construction and infrastructure portfolio. This role will lead full-cycle recruitment for high-volume skilled trades and project-based positions, including hiring for remote, rotational and hard-to-staff locations. The successful candidate will understand the pace of construction mobilisations, build strong talent pipelines and work closely with operations and project leaders to meet changing workforce needs.

What You Will Do

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for high-volume skilled trades and construction roles across multiple projects and locations.
• Support project mobilisations, ramp-ups and changing workforce plans, often within short timelines.
• Recruit for remote, rotational and hard-to-staff sites using targeted sourcing strategies suited to local labour markets.
• Build and maintain active pipelines for critical trades and recurring project requirements.
• Partner with project leaders, operations and HR to understand hiring priorities, anticipate gaps and provide practical recruitment solutions.
• Advise hiring leaders on candidate assessment, interview practices, selection decisions and recruitment processes.
• Coordinate recruitment activity across multiple requisitions while providing timely updates, accurate documentation and a strong candidate experience.
• Conduct labour market research to assess trade availability, competition and potential recruitment risks for new and proposed projects.
• Develop relationships with trade schools, industry associations, community partners and other external organisations to strengthen talent pipelines.
• Support inclusive hiring practices and outreach to under-represented groups in construction and skilled trades.
• Participate in job fairs, hiring events and project-based recruitment campaigns.
• Travel to project sites or recruitment events as required.

What You Bring

• Minimum of three years of full-cycle recruitment experience, with demonstrated success in high-volume skilled trades, construction or industrial hiring.
• Hands-on experience recruiting for remote, rotational or project-based work environments.
• Proven ability to manage mass hiring, project mobilisations and multiple priorities in a fast-moving operational environment.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies for skilled trades and hard-to-fill positions.
• Experience partnering directly with operations, construction or project leaders.
• Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience using an applicant tracking system; Oracle Recruiting Cloud experience is an asset.
