Role Responsibilities

  • Support the recruiting and onboarding activities of new hires, including resume review, pre-screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and preparing onboarding packages and employee files.
  • Maintain and monitor applicant tracking systems such as Indeed and Job Bank.
  • Upload and maintain employee files within the HRIS.
  • Support company-organized events, participate in recruitment efforts such as career fairs.
  • Assist in employee experience enhancement initiatives.
  • Support the HR team with company-wide initiatives.
  • Update and maintain internal data spreadsheets and databases.
  • Work schedule is flexible; however, applicants may be asked to work as late as 7:00 p.m. EST to assist with key recruitment initiatives and accommodate different time zones.
  • A hybrid schedule will also be considered.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or a graduate of Business Administration or Human Resources programs is preferred.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Team-oriented with a focus on team goals.
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours occasionally.
