As a strategic partner supporting all of Huawei Canada, the Human Resource Department plays a pivotal role in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent while ensuring compliance with corporate and legal standards. About the job:

  1. Design and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies for technical and research positions, with a focus on AI and software roles.
  2. Source candidates through multiple channels including professional networks, online platforms, industry events, and academic institutions.
  3. Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate with hiring managers throughout the selection process.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with universities, research institutions, and professional communities to create talent pipelines.
  5. Stay current on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitive recruiting practices in the tech and AI sectors.
  6. Manage the candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
  7. Track recruitment metrics and regularly report on hiring progress.
  8. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and translate them into effective job descriptions.

The target annual compensation (based on 2080 hours per year) ranges from $48,000 to $94,000 depending on education, experience and demonstrated expertise.
