AgeCare Dawson is seeking a Recreation Therapy Aide to support residents with planned and spontaneous activities that enhance engagement and wellbeing. You will help build skills, foster relationships, and contribute to a caring, home-like environment.
You will work a variety of shifts, possibly travel within the province for education and meetings, and participate in ongoing program evaluation while maintaining accurate records.
The Recreation Therapy Aide (RTA) supports the delivery of both planned and spontaneous recreational opportunities that promote residents’ engagement, independence, and overall well-being. This role helps residents maintain and develop skills, build meaningful relationships, and foster social connections within a supportive care environment.
