The City of Wetaskiwin is seeking a Recreation Program Facilitator to help plan, lead, and adapt dryland programming for youth. You will work with a team to create fun, safe experiences that build confidence and new skills, while ensuring participants’ health and safety.
You will report to the Recreation Program Facilitator and contribute to a positive environment with excellent service and communication. This role offers a flexible schedule with up to 29 hours per week.

The Opportunity
The City of Wetaskiwin is seeking someone who enjoys facilitating recreation programs, encouraging young minds, has excellent customer service skills and wants to positively contribute to our community through dryland programming! Reporting to the Recreation Program Facilitator, this position will work within a team to help lead programming that encourages participants to improve their self-confidence, independence, build new skills, and create a fun and unique experience. This position is responsible for creating a positive environment for participants and to ensure their health and safety.
