Job summary

Strive Living Society in Vancouver is seeking Recreation & Outreach Facilitators (Casual/On-call) to fill shifts not covered. Shifts run weekdays 9:00am–5:00pm, with on-site work.

You'll support Adults with developmental, health issues in group and one-to-one settings, helping them build life skills and community connections, and assist them in home and community activities.

Are you looking for a rewarding and exciting career in Social Services and Community Living?

Strive Centre Vancouver is currently looking for Recreation & Outreach Facilitators (Casual/On-call) who can fill shifts that are not covered. Shifts will occur between Monday to Friday between the hours of 9:00am-5:00pm .

The position entails working within Strive Centre's recreation and outreach team, supporting Adults with Developmental, Concurrent Disorders, FASD, Autism, ABI and mental health issues, in a group and one-to-one capacity. The successful candidate would share their time between making connections in the community and linking participants to those connections as well as assisting individuals in the community and in their homes, to work towards their goals, teaching life skills, community integration and social skills.

Pay rate: $25.95/hour *plus benefits upon meeting eligibility requirements.

*Some benefits have eligibility requirements of surpassing three (3) months and securing a regular position of 20hrs/week or more. The benefits and criteria may change from time to time at the discretion of Strive.
