AgeCare Ltd. is seeking a Casual Recreation Aide at AgeCare Holyrood in Maple Ridge, BC. You will assist in planning and delivering resident-centered recreation programs in collaboration with management, fostering a welcoming and engaging environment for seniors.

• Diploma in Recreation, Leisure Studies, Gerontology, or related field (or equivalent).
• Experience with seniors in recreation/healthcare is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to transport residents as required; vulnerability sector check or willingness to obtain.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering recreation programs with the Recreation Manager and Executive Director.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive environment to encourage resident participation and well-being.
• Support assessments and evaluation of resident engagement and program effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate documentation including participation records and program notes.
• Facilitate resident participation in programs and community outings, with transportation support as needed.
• Prepare and deliver daily program activities and assist with meal service as needed.
