Job summary

Alpha House Calgary is seeking a Recovery Coach for our Transitional Housing program. You will develop and implement a case plan to increase client stability and help achieve recovery goals, with daily client contact and case notes.

Responsibilities include delivering My Recovery Plan, crisis management, providing health and homelessness education, and coordinating referrals and funding. A valid driver's license and strong English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Two-year program in Addictions, Social Work, or related field (in progress acceptable).
• Experience with Indigenous or vulnerable populations.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with clean five-year abstract.
• Knowledge of addictions, crisis management, and trauma-informed care.
• Excellent oral and written English; ability to present.

Responsibilities

• Daily client contact and monitoring needs.
• Maintain daily case notes and My Recovery Plan.
• Provide crisis management and advocacy.
• Drive clients in Agency vehicle when needed.
• Ensure program compliance and safety standards.
