Job summary

Fraser Health in New Westminster seeks a Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse to provide and coordinate nursing services to clients with substance use challenges, in collaboration with an interprofessional care team.

You will assess, teach, and follow up, deliver crisis intervention and medication administration, and contribute to health promotion and recovery‑oriented care in accordance with BCCNM standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed with BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Experience in substance use care.
• Ability to provide counselling and health teaching.
• Commitment to evidence‑based practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and develop care plans with clients and families.
• Administer medications and monitor responses.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with emergency services.
• Collaborate with interprofessional care team in rounds and care conferences.
• Document in electronic health records and maintain health records.
