Job summary

Rural King in Canada is looking for a Recovery Associate to keep the sales floor clean, organized, and well-stocked while delivering friendly, helpful service to customers.

You’ll recover merchandise, replenish shelves, and ensure displays follow the Indoor Merchandising Guide and store standards. Training and cross-functional support may be required.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and a willingness to learn; previous retail or stockroom experience is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily department recovery by returning merchandise to the sales floor and replenishing shelves.
• Organize and display merchandise according to the Indoor Merchandising Guide and department standards.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe sales floors and customer areas.
• Greet customers and assist with product questions, locations, and purchase decisions.
• Maintain knowledge of featured products and their locations.
• Safely operate handheld devices, forklifts, pallet jacks, ladders, and other retail equipment.
• Participate in cross-training and support other departments as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull 30 pounds repetitively and 31–50 pounds intermittently.
• Ability to safely use a ladder and pallet jack.
• Ability to navigate and access all required store facilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and electronically.
• Close vision required for computer-related activities.
