Job description

Qualifications

• Perusing post secondary education: Preference to those studying engineering and who have either completed two years of their post secondary education or have previously completed a work term
• Demonstrated ability to collect and analyze data and provide business recommendations
• An interest in continuous improvement and ability to provide process improvement recommendations
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Understanding of or ability to learn manufacturing systems such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) and PI Corsight

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand the manufacturing process of appetizers
• Collect and analyze input and output data of waste recovery
• Assist in providing recommendations on new and current waste recover processes and purchase solutions
• Work with corporate engineers, maintenance, raw procurement and other internal teams
• Other duties as required to support the business
