Job description

Safran Electrical Components is a subsidiary of Safran Electrical & Power, specializing in electrical components. It is also the world leader in harsh environment harnesses for landing gear and U.S. military applications.

Responsibilities
  • Locate and pick products based on Manufacturing Orders from inventory shelves, ensuring the correct items, quantities, and quality to support production.
  • Print inventory count sheets and maintain inventory control procedures to meet company goals.
  • Review inventory workflow, propose enhancements, and document inventory cycle processes.
  • Ensure inventory is kept at healthy levels, highlight slow-moving items, and propose action plans.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and full inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with system records and investigate variances.
  • Manage inventory levels, ensure accurate records, and flag if replenishment is delayed.
  • Participate in planning, driving, and executing warehousing improvement projects through IT, technology, innovation, and transformation deployment.
  • Follow Quality, Safety, and Company policies.
  • Ensure daily production parts are picked to support daily operational targets.
  • Maintain accurate warehouse records and documentation.
  • Support warehouse management with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Actively participate in and contribute to HSE initiatives, corporate HSE programs, and risk communication and mitigation efforts.
  • Ensure inventory is stored safely, organized, and labeled appropriately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  1. Minimum 1-year experience in inventory control and receiving.
  2. Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
  3. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  4. Good communication skills in English.
  5. Preferably with knowledge of the aviation industry.
  6. Experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
  7. Forklift certification is an asset.

This position involves working with controlled goods and is subject to Canada's Controlled Goods Program (CGP) regulations. Preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents who meet the necessary security clearance requirements.
