Receptionist / Bartender (Crew Member) – MOXY Glasgow SEC

This position is based on a full-time contract.

Gross Salary: £12.64 per hour

We are looking for a confident communicator who is comfortable in a fast-paced, service-focused role. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver and team player, capable of creating a fun and relaxed environment that makes guests feel at home.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Helping guests and creating positive experiences
• Managing hotel room inventory and checking guests in/out in the Moxy way
• Operating Food & Beverage outlets according to Moxy standards
• Managing bills and payments accurately
• Preparing food, cleaning, tidying, restocking, taking deliveries, and organizing BOH areas
• Following all food safety, licensing, and health and safety policies to ensure safe work practices
• Supporting other Crew Members and following directions from Crew Leaders
• Promoting and supporting the Moxy brand and the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program

We’re looking for someone with Moxie, which includes:

• High energy and a fearless, can-do attitude
• Good interpersonal skills and enjoyment in chatting with guests
• Ability to multitask effectively, balancing hard work with excellent service
• Understanding that being relaxed isn’t the same as being lazy
• Clear communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus!)

Useful Experience

• Experience in the service industry
• Knowledge of hotel systems such as Opera and/or Micros
• Knowledge of Food Safety and Licensing laws
• Personal experience with travel and the travel industry
