Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Calgary is seeking a Receiving Outfitter to support back room operations, inventory control, and replenishment. You will receive P.O.’s, count packages, stock from back room to the sales floor, and ensure displays are clean with current pricing and tags.

The role requires attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to lift and move merchandise; steel-toe boots and a PAL license are required. Bass Pro Shops offers a collaborative, value-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work.
• Customer service oriented team player.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and other business contacts in a courteous, positive and professional manner.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods, and to move and handle boxes of merchandise.
• Steel-toe boots are required.
• Must be able to obtain a PAL license.

Responsibilities

• Systematically receive P.O.’s that come into the building
• Physical count of all packages coming into the building and verify count with packing slip
• Conduct stocking activities from back room to sales floor
• Perform tasks including folding, repackaging, sorting, facing and re-hanging of newly arriving Bass Pro/Cabela’s product
• Conduct general replenishment of all departments including facing, hanging merchandise
• Conduct floor checks including cleaning, updates to pricing and signage, inventory, verification of min/max settings, ensuring that shelves are full and that security tags are in place
• Assist with merchandise purges when necessary

• Conduct general replenishment of all departments including facing, hanging merchandise
• Conduct floor checks including cleaning, updates to pricing and signage, inventory, verification of min/max settings, ensuring that shelves are full and that security tags are in place
• Assist with merchandise purges when necessary
