Job summary

Bass Pro Shops Canada seeks a Receiving Outfitter to manage backend operations including receiving, inventory control, stocking and housekeeping. The role involves checking P.O.s, counting packages, stocking from back room to floor, and maintaining pricing and signage.

Responsibilities

• Receive P.O.'s and verify against packing slips.
• Count incoming packages and reconcile with packing slips.
• Stock merchandise from back room to sales floor.
• Fold, repackage, sort and re-hang newly arriving merchandise.
• Replenish and face stock across departments.
• Perform floor checks: pricing, signage, inventory and min/max settings.
• Assist with merchandise purges as needed.

Job description

Summary:

Reporting to the Retail Manager- Operations, a Receiving Outfitter is responsible for backend operations including receiving, warehouse, inventory control, replenishment, stocking and maintenance/housekeeping departments

Responsibilities:

• Systematically receive P.O.'s that come into the building
• Physical count of all packages coming into the building and verify count with packing slip
• Conduct stocking activities from back room to sales floor
• Perform tasks including folding, repackaging, sorting, facing and re-hanging of newly arriving Cabela's Canada product
• Conduct general replenishment of all departments including facing, hanging merchandise
• Conduct floor checks including cleaning, updates to pricing and signage, inventory, verification of min/max settings, ensuring that shelves are full and that security tags are in place
• Assist with merchandise purges when necessary
