Job summary

RONA in Canada is seeking a dedicated delivery team member to greet customers, prepare delivery orders, and load vehicles with care. This role emphasizes accurate order preparation, on-time delivery support, and maintaining a safe, organized store environment.

You will work in a fast-paced retail setting, ensuring excellent service and adherence to safety protocols while contributing to team success and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 driver's license required.
• Experience operating forklift or similar equipment.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and working outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Greet and communicate with customers in a friendly manner.
• Prepare orders for delivery and ensure correct merchandise selection.
• Load and unload trucks and assist with deliveries as needed.
• Stay informed about new product developments and uses.
• Maintain departmental upkeep and follow health and safety policies.

Your role:

• Greet and communicate with customers in a friendly manner
• Prepare orders for delivery, ensuring that merchandise is properly selected
• Load and unload trucks
• Assist with the delivery of orders when necessary
• Keep abreast of new product developments and their use
• Maintain and participate in departmental maintenance
• Work in accordance with company health and safety as well as loss prevention policies and procedures
• Any other related duties to ensure the smooth running of the store

What we're looking for:

• Valid class 5 driver's license
• Experience with forklift operation, or similar equipment
• Comfortable working on your feet for long periods, and occasionally working outdoors
