Job summary

NRI Distribution in Kamloops, BC is seeking a Receiving Clerk to join the Inbound team and ensure timely processing of received product.

The ideal candidate is team-oriented, proactive, and detail-driven, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment and to partner with the team to overcome roadblocks.

Shift is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, on-site. The role offers opportunities for growth, staff perks, and a collaborative work atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Must have 6+ months of experience as an Inbound Clerk.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and tolerate dust, noise, and heat/cold.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all inbound schedules are maintained and documentation is accurate for shipments.
• Works with Supervisor to determine inbound volumes and arrival times.
• Accurately enters all documents, ensuring they are complete and ready for processing in the system.
• Constantly communicates with Clients via email.
• Following NRI safety rules, SOPs and security protocols.
• Keeps work and storage areas safe, clean, and tidy at all times.
• Performs other duties as requested.

As a Receiving Clerk, you will play an important part of the Inbound team by ensuring timely processing of received product. You'll be working with products from awesome clients that are heavily involved in the active lifestyle .

The ideal candidate is someone who is team-oriented, proactive and has a high attention to detail. You should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and priorities that may change daily, while remaining focused on partnering with the team and discerning any potential roadblocks to task completion.

Shift : Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM

What You'll Bring to the Role:

• Experience with basic warehouse management scanning system (WMS)
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Has the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
• Trustworthy and moral character

The Must Haves:

• Must have 6 + months of experience as a n Inbound Clerk
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and Excel
• Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., walking and standing for extended periods, climbing ladders/stairs, comfortable with heights in elevated areas and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc.
