Excellence Peterbilt in Laval is seeking a Receiving and Shipping Clerk with Team Lead responsibilities to help keep our heavy-duty truck parts warehouse running smoothly. You will coordinate daily receiving, shipping, and order preparation, while guiding the team to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

The role requires strong organizational skills, experience in warehouse operations, and the ability to manage priorities for timely customer service.

Formación

• Experience in receiving, shipping, or general warehouse operations.
• Ability to coordinate a small team and manage priorities.
• Forklift certification is an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and responsibility.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate daily receiving, shipping, and order preparation activities.
• Assign tasks and establish work priorities for the team.
• Support and guide team members in daily duties.
• Receive, inspect, identify, and store merchandise according to established procedures.
• Prepare orders and coordinate shipments to customers and branches.
• Maintain inventory accuracy in computer systems.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure fast and efficient service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Receiving and Shipping Clerk | Team Lead – Day Shift

Join our team as a Receiving and Shipping Clerk with Team Lead Responsibilities and play an important role in keeping our heavy-duty truck parts warehouse running efficiently!

In this role, you'll be actively involved in daily warehouse operations while coordinating tasks and supporting your coworkers to ensure efficient, high-quality service.

Salary: Starting at $24.00/hour

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Work Location: Laval

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily receiving, shipping, and order preparation activities;
• Assign tasks and establish work priorities to ensure smooth warehouse operations;
• Support and guide team members in carrying out their daily responsibilities;
• Receive, inspect, identify, and store merchandise according to established procedures;
• Prepare orders and coordinate shipments to customers and other branches;
• Manage and follow up on parts returns, warranty items, and cores;
• Assist with loading and unloading merchandise using appropriate equipment;
• Ensure inventory accuracy and keep information up to date in computer systems;
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure fast and efficient service;
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following established procedures.

Experience, Education, and Skills That Would Be Helpful:

• Previous experience in receiving, shipping, or warehouse operations;
• Experience coordinating a team or demonstrating strong leadership skills;
• Forklift operator certification (an asset);
• Good computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, and effectively manage priorities;
• Attention to detail, resourcefulness, and a strong sense of responsibility;
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team;
• Ability to handle and lift loads weighing up to 50 lbs.
