Job summary

Carpenter Enterprises (B.C.) Inc., a McDonald’s franchise serving Vancouver Island, is hiring a Receiver / Crew Member to join our Victoria restaurant. This part-time role requires you to be consistently available every Sunday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM and to help with deliveries and stock.

What you’ll do: receive and unload deliveries, move items to storage, organize the stockroom, rotate stock with food-safety procedures, and keep areas clean and safe.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Must be available every Sunday 11:00 AM–4:00 PM.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload weekly deliveries.
• Move products to storage areas.
• Organize and store items in stockroom, cooler, and freezer.
• Rotate stock using food safety procedures.
• Keep storage and receiving areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Identify and report delivery or product issues to restaurant management.
• Support other Crew Member duties after delivery.
• Follow food safety and workplace procedures.

Starting Wage: $18.25 per hour

Carpenter Enterprises (B.C.) Inc. is an independently owned and operated franchise of McDonald’s Restaurants serving communities across Vancouver Island. We are currently looking for a reliable and organized Receiver / Crew Member to support our weekly restaurant deliveries.

This is a part-time position specifically for someone who is consistently available every Sunday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

What You’ll Do

As our Receiver, your primary responsibility will be receiving our weekly delivery and ensuring products are safely and efficiently organized and put away.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Receiving and unloading restaurant deliveries
• Moving products from the delivery area to designated storage areas
• Organizing and putting away products in the stockroom, cooler, and freezer
• Rotating stock using proper food safety and inventory procedures
• Keeping storage and receiving areas clean, safe, and organized
• Identifying and communicating any delivery or product concerns to restaurant management
• Supporting other Crew Member duties as needed once the delivery is complete
• Following food safety, workplace safety, and company procedures at all times

Physical Requirements

• Safely handling products and equipment in a fast-paced restaurant environment
