Job summary

Novolex in Montreal, QC is seeking a Claims Analyst to manage client claims, reconcile amounts with contracts, and help maintain billing accuracy. You will collaborate with Sales and Finance to ensure policy compliance and timely resolutions.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, speed in a fast-paced team, and updating training materials while supporting process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer contracts and execute per policy.
• Establish controls to ensure credits align with policy.
• Process claims and credits for customers in a fast-paced environment.
• Rebill and collect amounts not in accordance with policy.
• Report exceptions and drive compliance with sales and Finance.
• Manage backlog deductions.
• Provide month-end accruals and detail by customer to Finance for approval.
• Update Vistex with all customer rebate programs.
• Identify cost efficiencies and convert deductions to payments.
• Maintain notes and training docs for new employees.
• Support changes and assist in special projects.

Job Description

Primary function will involve the processing of client claims and reconciling amounts with the clients

• Understand Customer Contract and execute in accordance with Policy / Contract.
• Establish controls to ensure credits are in accordance with policy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced department to process claims and credits for customers in a timely and accurately manner.
• Rebill and collect amounts that are not in accordance with the policy.
• On a recurring basis report out exceptions/non-compliance and drive compliance by working with sales and Business Unit Finance

• Manage back log deduction process.
• Responsible for providing month-end accruals and ensure they are in accordance with contract terms and provide details by customer to Business Unit Finance for approval.
• Update and maintain Vistex (claims program) with all customer rebate programs.
• Identify opportunities to drive efficiencies and be cost effective.
• Convert customers from deduction mode to payment mode.
• Maintain updated notes and training documents to train new employees.
• Research, plan and assist in the implementation of changes.
• Assist in special projects as assigned.
